Traditional 9 to 5 jobs are outdated; many individuals follow as flexible workers careers independently from single organizations and are on their own in managing their careers. How can flexible workers be enabled to navigate their career successfully and achieve personal well-being? The talk is discussing the newest results of participative research, which our research team of the University of Lucerne is conducting with digital nomads as contributors.

How can we empower people to unleash their full potential? As a researcher and lecture, I am passionate about generating evidence-based answers to this question while enabling students to find such answers as well. In obtained my PhD in management from the University of Zurich in 2016, stayed with a career grant at the Centre for Positive Work Psychology at the University of Rotterdam from 2016-2018 and work for the Center for Human Resource Management at the University of Lucerne since 2018.
