After spending almost 10 years on the road travelling and working remotely, we decided in 2023 to create Alpiness Coliving in a tiny village of the swiss alps. In our presentation we will share with you why we decided to “settle” and create our own space in the mountains… But also why we believe rural coliving spaces can contribute bridging the gap between rural and urban, offering colivers a different way of life, more connected to nature and the local community.
We are Fabienne and Ben the Swiss couple who founded Alpiness Coliving in the small village of Les Haudères (Valais). After years of traveling around as digital nomads and documenting our journey on our travel blog (novo-monde.com), we were inspired by communities we found in coliving spaces across Europe and decided to create ourse in the mountains.
